Sym NHT 125cc Overview

The SYM NHT 125 is a great bike for those who want to get an early start into adventure motorcycling, or for those looking for an affordable daily run around. These simple, rugged lightweight bikes feature an upright riding position, which enhances forward visibility and makes cutting through traffic a doddle. The steel tubular perimeter frame and plush suspension provide excellent handling and front and rear disc brakes with ABS provide superb stopping power.

The SYM NHT also boasts modern features such as full-LED lighting, a 2A USB charger, and an LCD dash. Its front beak and visor add to the adventure aesthetic. The front suspension with 140mm of travel allows riders to navigate various terrains with ease, while wire-spoke wheels and dual purpose chunky tyres absorb shocks to provide a more comfortable ride.

The bike's dimensions are overall 2068mm long x 860 tall x 1195 mm wide with a wheelbase of 1405 mm and a curb weight of only 150 kg. The front suspension is a RWU telescopic fork, while the rear suspension is a mono shock. The spoked steel wheels are 19-inch front fitted with a 100 / 90-19 tyre and the rear wheel is 17-inch fitted with a chunky 130 / 80-17 tyre. The front brake is a single disc Ø 288 mm + ABS, while the rear brake is also a single disc Ø 222 mm + ABS. The fuel capacity is 11 L.

The heart of the SYM NHT complies with Euro 5 emissions standards and features a robust and reliable 125cc air cooled single cylinder 4-stroke engine and a frugal fuel injection system. The maximum horsepower is 8.0 kW at 9,000 rpm, with a maximum torque of 9.3 Nm at 7,500 rpm. The bike has a top speed of 105 km/h (65 Mph) with a 5 speed transmission.

For new riders, the NH-T 125 offers a great way to explore the world. With a sporty look that follows adventure-crossover lines, the NH-T 125 has a characteristic beak under the headlight and a larger 19-inch front wheel, a fatter 17-inch rear and spoked rims. The Mx style handlebars are wide for extra leverage, with long suspension travel and decent ground clearance to clear obstacles. The dual purpose ADV style tyres are suitable for on/off-road use, equally at home on both asphalt and dirt. With its compact dimensions, low seat height, and light weight, the NH-T 125 is easy to handle, a delight to ride and perfect for everyday use.
